"Alias La Gringa". Complete film.
"Alias La Gringa" is a film directed by Alberto "Chicho" Durant. The film tells the story of a seasoned criminal nicknamed "la gringa," who, after a spectacular robbery, is locked up on a prison island from which he escapes, and to which he returns when a riot breaks out and the life of a fellow prisoner detained for terrorism is in danger. The film is inspired by the events that took place at El Frontón in July 1986, when Navy personnel violently suppressed a riot at the now-defunct prison island and killed more than a hundred terrorism inmates.
