Right of Grace – Pativilca Case. Amicus Curiae
The Instituto de Democracia y Derechos Humanos de la Pontificia Universidad Católica (Idehpucp), the Fundación para el Debido Proceso (DPLF), and the Human Rights Research and Education Centre (HRREC) of the University of Ottawa submitted an amicus curiae to the Panel "B" of the Sala Penal Nacional arguing the impossibility of yielding to the defense's request on behalf of Alberto Fujimori, since "the presidential pardon, as it has been granted, collides with constitutional provisions and international human rights obligations."
