'Mamá Angélica' Dies, Symbol of the Disappeared in Peru
Angélica Mendoza, who for more than three decades searched for her son kidnapped by Peruvian security forces and became a symbol for families of the disappeared, died at the age of 88 in the southern city of Ayacucho.
