The Peruvian Government Will Comply with the Resolution Annulling Fujimori's Pardon
The Government of Peru announced that it will comply with the judicial ruling that today annulled the humanitarian pardon granted to former president Alberto Fujimori (1990-2000) and ordered his arrest for return to prison. "As a Government we respect the independence of the Judiciary, which implies unrestricted compliance with its rulings," the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights (MinjusDH) stated in a communiqué.
