Acocro District Sows 33 Tonnes of Potatoes – News Item
Through a potato seed harvesting project, the Municipalidad Distrital de Acocro managed to plant 33 tons of certified potato in the same district. This means it will no longer be necessary to travel to places such as Andahuaylas or Huancayo to obtain better quality of the local tuber. The certification of the planting was announced at an event attended by community members and local authorities. February 1, 2010.
