Class, Gender and Peacebuilding in Peru (1961–2014). Colloquium
This colloquium is presented as an opportunity to discover and make visible histories that remained hidden, with the aim of questioning the way in which the past and present of Peru are written and lived. We will be interested in the way in which both groups and their respective affiliated organizations have thought about the articulation between social relations of sex and class (within the group and in relation to civil society), based on the existing social and economic order, and on the need their members had to forge a collective political identity in order to transform society and build an alternative State. (Excerpt from the presentation).
