Ana María Vidal on Forced Sterilizations: The Silence Benefits Keiko
Yesterday the Coordinadora Nacional de Derechos Humanos (of which I am a member) and Demus announced at a press conference that prosecutor Marcelita Gutiérrez decided to extend the investigation into forced sterilizations by another 150 days. In practice, this means delaying the search for justice for these women by another 5 months and thus perpetuating the impunity of this crime against humanity. February 16, 2016.
