The Human Rights Situation in Peru 2012–2013. Preliminary Report
A year ago, in November 2012, the Peruvian Government presented to the Human Rights Council the fifth periodic report on the human rights situation as part of the so-called Universal Periodic Review. The Coordinadora Nacional de Derechos Humanos also submitted a report reflecting the concerns and proposals of civil society on the matter. This presentation focuses on analyzing progress and setbacks in relation to the main observations formulated by the Human Rights Committee at its 107th session (March 11-28, 2013).
