BREAKING THE DIKE OF THE AMNESTY LAW
The murdered victims of La Cantuta return, the disappeared from Santa, from Ucayali, from Huancayo, from Lima, from Huancavelica, from Huánuco, from Ayacucho. The ghosts return to haunt — four years after the promulgation of the amnesty laws — around Fujimori, his military allies, and the Congress of the Republic. They return to encircle those who forced society to forget the crimes committed in this country between 1980 and 1995. Like a nightmare for those who wanted to turn the page on so much harm and so many wounds and become accomplices to crime. They return as memory for those of us who will not allow those who demand truth, justice, and reparation to remain in a world of shadows, cover-up, and impunity... they all return, irremediably.
