Soras: The Trail of Pain Left by Shining Path's 'Caravan of Death'
On July 16, 1984, more than one hundred people from the peasant community of Soras and its annexes were killed by Sendero Luminoso under the command of Víctor Quispe Palomino. 28 years later, the clamor for justice from the bereaved can still be heard.
