Yuyarisun: We Are Remembering

Yuyarisun is an archive of testimonies from community members of Ayacucho and Huancavelica, Peru, that document the political violence of Peru's last two decades. The archive is organized into four genres: painted drawings, poetry, song, and comic strips. In each of them we present 8 pieces selected according to chronological, geographical, and thematic criteria. Behind them we have a broader catalog. The pieces are accompanied by historical summaries, maps, and links of interest. The texts are in Quechua, Spanish, and English, as applicable. Finally, the visitor has access to a forum where they can share their opinion or testimony.
