Ombudsman's Report No. 18: Report on the Case of Mrs. Luisa Margarita Zanatta Muedas
On March 16, 1998, two television programs broadcast interviews conducted in the city of Miami with Ms. Luisa Margarita Zanatta Muedas. In those interviews, Ms. Zanatta stated that she had been an agent of the Army Intelligence Service and had, among other activities, participated in phone-tapping operations that this organization regularly carried out to gather information, intercepting communications of prominent figures in national politics.
