Barbarism Is Not Fought with Barbarism

During the turbulent years of the internal armed conflict that our country experienced, the human rights organizations grouped in the Coordinadora Nacional de Derechos Humanos coined the phrase "Barbarism is not fought with barbarism," thereby making absolutely clear their condemnation of the serious and massive human rights violations perpetrated by agents of the State, while at the same time rejecting any malicious suggestion that they were lenient toward terrorist violence, which they condemned with the same intensity and indignation.
