The End of the Beginning
The Regional Victims Registration Campaign in Huancavelica has concluded, collecting more than 5,000 requests from victims or their close relatives. The data constitute the first step of a plan aimed at fully identifying those affected by political violence. This major effort was made possible thanks to the decision of the Regional Government of Huancavelica and the contribution of IDL, which received support from the Fondo Ítalo Peruano (FIP). The tables presented below have been prepared based on a projection made from the administrative registry of the provinces of Huancavelica and Angaraes.
