A Truth Commission Finally Comes Our Way. A Goal for the Country
The recent creation of the Truth Commission is one more achievement of the democratic transition — a vitally important achievement for its ethical, political, and human significance; an achievement that will be historically associated with that transition as irrefutable proof of the contrast with the past. The opposite would have been a contradiction, an unnecessary stain.
