Collective Funeral 25 Years Later
The remains of 92 civilians were buried a quarter century after the Putis massacre in Peru, one of the most tragic events of the armed conflict that pitted Peruvian security forces against the Maoist guerrilla group Sendero Luminoso in the 1980s.
