COMPLAINT AND REPORTS ON THE CAYARA CASE
Complaint by the CIDH against the State of Peru in the CAYARA case. On February 14, 1992, the Comisión Interamericana de Derechos Humanos submitted to the Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos a complaint against the State of Peru, regarding events that occurred starting May 14, 1988 in the District of Cayara, Province of Víctor Fajardo, Department of Ayacucho. Considering it a matter of general interest, the Commission, at its 83rd regular session, resolved to publish the complaint together with Report No. 29/91, as well as the response of the Government of Peru to said report, which appear as annexes to the complaint filed by the Commission.
