Interview with former CVR commissioner Beatriz Alva Hart, who stated that the criticism of the CVR report stems from the fact that politicians and civil society lack the courage to look in the mirror and acknowledge that we committed very many and very serious errors. She likewise denied that the report was biased, since it recognizes Sendero Luminoso as the principal perpetrator of human rights crimes and characterizes it as genocidal for the massacres carried out in indigenous communities.
