Guzmán and Shining Path. After the Fall

If man, as Shakespeare said, is made of the stuff of dreams, there is no doubt that in Abimael Guzmán we are confronted with the product of an inordinate nightmare. Much has been said in recent days about his personality, his psychology, and even his neurology. I would like to highlight the way in which the political personality of the captured man marked the history of Sendero Luminoso (SL) from the very beginning and came in recent years to project itself over all of Peru.
