Depopulation and Depopulation in Areas of Political Violence. Peru: 1980–2000

The aspects highlighted in this research involve the variables of natural population growth: fertility, mortality, nuptiality, and migration. The research aims to generate new knowledge from a demographic perspective, based on the effects of political violence in areas classified as having low, medium, and high impact with respect to depopulation and population decline. These results are intended to provide theoretical inputs to the scientific community and decision-making bodies to intervene at the demographic level and to guide the population directly affected by political violence by informing them of the demographic consequences that this conflict entailed.
