IACHR Demands Justice for Forced Sterilizations in Peru
The Peruvian State was compelled to punish those responsible for the forced sterilizations that the regime of Alberto Fujimori (1990–2000) imposed on more than 2,000 women. This was the ruling issued by the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (CIDH).
