The Serious Human Rights Violations During Alberto Fujimori's Term (1990–2000)
Among the cases of serious violations of fundamental rights documented by the CVR during the years in which Alberto Fujimori was president are: torture and enforced disappearances, the extrajudicial execution and enforced disappearance of students from the Universidad Nacional del Centro, the extrajudicial executions of detainees accused of "terrorism," torture and extrajudicial execution, the participation of army personnel in the killing of peasants, and other human rights violations such as sexual abuse against women.
