The mother of MRTA leader Víctor Polay, imprisoned at the Naval Base in Callao, received CARETAS at her home in Camacho on the one-year anniversary of the takeover of the Japanese ambassador's residence — which, as is known, aimed to secure the release of imprisoned MRTA members — and recalled what she experienced on that dramatic night.
