The Dream Is Reborn. One of the Largest Tribal Peoples of America Returns to Its Land

In the central jungle, Unicef has been developing a training and basic-assistance program for communities that suffered the ravages of war. This program has been implemented in the basins of the Ene and Tambo rivers. It consists of bringing basic concepts of hygiene and health to women, while providing agricultural training to the men of the community. Alejandro Balaguer has been documenting the post-war process, in which children learn to renounce the habits of violence. Published September 21, 1995.
