The publicity display put on by Abimael Guzmán and his co-defendants during the first hearing of the trial related to the César Vallejo academy left no room for doubt: the Peruvian State embarked on the new proceedings against the terrorists poorly and without a defined strategy. It emerged that the second hearing, scheduled for Friday the 12th, would be held under the chairmanship of judge Dante Terrel, whose removal has been demanded by nearly every sector following his inability to control the incident.
