Fujimori and Montesinos Ordered the Execution of 28 Imprisoned Senderistas
On May 6, 1992, one month after the April 5 coup, Alberto Fujimori Fujimori, then President of the Republic, learned of and authorized the plan for the extrajudicial elimination of 28 Senderista prisoners at the Cantogrande prison, most of them members of the terrorist group's Central Committee.
