Report to the National Prosecutor's Office on the Huanta Case.
This morning, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission makes its presence known in the town of Huanta, and specifically at its municipal stadium, to present to the country the conclusions of a report on serious human rights violations that had their epicenter, in large part, in these very facilities. This stadium, a reflection of the hope and effort of the people of Huanta, was turned between 1983 and 1985 into a center of abuse and terror. Report presented on March 10, 2003.
