Terrorist ambush. Shining Path (Part 1 of 2)
On October 9, 2008, as a result of a terrorist ambush in Huancavelica, 14 soldiers and two civilians lost their lives while 11 others were injured. A powerful explosion destroyed a truck transporting the soldiers in the district of Tintay Puncu, province of Tayacaja, in the Peruvian highlands.
