"Without Feeling" Opens the Ayacuchan Film Cycle Event at CAFAE-SE
Our friends at the Centro Cultural José María Arguedas of CAFAE-SE are presenting, starting today — Friday the 1st — a cycle of Ayacuchan cinema. It is a panoramic look at the audiovisual production of this central region of the country, spanning from the mid-1990s with Lágrimas de fuego, perhaps the first film made entirely in the region, to more recent films such as Chullpicha and Sin sentimiento. It is precisely the latter that opens the showcase, which will run every Friday in February. Five productions will be screened for the first time in Lima, and their own filmmakers will present them to the public. Published on February 1, 2008.
