Celebrating Human Rights
It was a warm evening on Friday, March 19, at the Colegio de Abogados de Lima. Before a packed auditorium — attended not only by human rights activists but also by authorities, diplomats, journalists, and the general public — the Coordinadora Nacional de Derechos Humanos (CNDDHH) presented its annual awards at a ceremony held within the celebration marking the 50th anniversary of the Universal Declaration, proclaimed in Paris in 1948.
