Ayacucho. Personal Testimony
This work is the personal testimony of Antonio Parodi Buendía, a writer by profession, who in 1987 embarked on a journey through the department of Ayacucho, which at that time was under siege from attacks by Sendero Luminoso. In this publication, Parodi recounts details of his stay in the emergency zone. He writes about car bombs, explosions, blackouts, how the military confronted Sendero Luminoso, how the people of the area were affected by this terrible crisis, and other topics.
