Social and Legal Profile of Juvenile Offenders Prosecuted for the Crime of Terrorism in Peru
The objective of this report is to investigate the specific personal and social characteristics of adolescents tried and/or convicted for the crime of terrorism in our country, and thereby to confirm or rule out possible similarities between their characteristics and those of adolescents subject to socio-educational measures for violations of criminal law other than the crime of terrorism. The conclusions of this research were obtained from the analysis of the results of the census and survey conducted by CEAPAZ in all penitentiary centers and juvenile centers throughout the country during 1995, within the framework of our Legal Area's research project.
