List of Peasant Communities, Native Communities and Other Population Centers Affected by the Internal Armed Conflict 1980-2000
The Peace Census was prepared by the Ministerio de la Mujer y Desarrollo Social, through the Dirección General de Desplazados y Cultura de Paz, at the request of the Comisión Multisectorial de Alto Nivel, which carries out the task of monitoring State actions and policies in the areas of peace, collective reparation, and national reconciliation within the framework of the implementation of the Plan Integral de Reparaciones. The Peace Census had as its objective the incorporation of affected population centers that had not been registered in the three previous stages, with the intention of providing a more complete and detailed registry of the affected populations located in rural areas. The document is divided into two sections: the first provides a general description of the census and the methodology applied; the second presents the census findings, which are in turn organized into collective and individual harms.
