Victimology of the Peruvian Andes Based on the Phenomenon of Political Violence in Peru
The field of study chosen for the development of this doctoral thesis is victimology, not as a branch of criminology, but as an autonomous body of knowledge that is already in the process of consolidation and international recognition. This study is motivated by the concern for the analysis and expansion of a modern "interscience" such as victimology, as a new field of knowledge that is defining its boundaries, transcending the field of criminology.
