Femininity in Women Serving Prison Sentences for the Crime of Terrorism
The objective of this study was to describe the construction of femininity in women serving sentences for the crime of terrorism. The research focused on four areas: (a) the subjective perception of femininity, (b) the process of constructing femininity during childhood and adolescence, (c) how femininity is impacted upon joining the Partido Comunista Peruano Sendero Luminoso (PCP-SL), and (d) how femininity is impacted upon entering a prison facility.
