Peru 1964-1994. Economy, Society and Politics
On the occasion of its 30th anniversary, the Instituto de Estudios Peruanos decided to organize a meeting dedicated to analyzing the economic, social, political, and cultural changes that Peru has experienced during that time, and the existing possibilities for promoting social cohesion and democratic development. The meeting took place on August 11 and 12, 1994, and was attended by twenty-two speakers and commentators, in addition to the audience that followed and participated in the debate, whose contributions are published in this book.
