The Uncertain Path of Transition: Two Years after the Final Report of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission
The book presents varied and interesting reflections on the state of compliance with the recommendations of the CVR's Final Report, on what can be expected and done in that regard, and on the place these tasks and problems occupy in the construction of democracy and public ethics in Peru, in a context where a High-Level Multisectoral Commission (CMAN) — tasked with State Actions and Policies in the Areas of Peace, Collective Reparation, and National Reconciliation — was appointed in February 2004 with the function of designing, coordinating, and overseeing national policy in this area. Published in 2005, two years after the delivery of the CVR's Final Report.
