Shining Path murders peasants in the community of Santo Tomás de Pata in Angaraes
On November 2, 1991, in the community of Santo Tomás de Pata in Angaraes, Huancavelica, a Sendero Luminoso column murdered a total of 37 peasants and looted and burned their homes in retaliation for the death of one of its commanders in the area.
