VARGAS LLOSA AND CASTRO ARENAS IN AYACUCHO
Writer Mario Vargas Llosa and journalist Mario Castro Arenas appear before a tribunal in Ayacucho to testify about the Uchuraccay case. Both, together with Abraham Guzmán Figueroa, formed part of an investigative commission tasked with clarifying the deaths of the eight journalists executed on January 26, 1983.
