Traffic blocked with stones and vehicles in front of the San Fernando School of Medicine of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos on January 26, 1984, during a student demonstration. Violent disturbances were recorded in which two police officers were injured. It is presumed that members of Sendero Luminoso had infiltrated the march.
