Sinchi guards a Shining Path deserter
In the hamlet of Francisco Bolognesi, in Tingo María, a sinchi guards a deserter from Sendero Luminoso who will later serve as a guide in counter-subversive operations in May 1984. The Sinchis were a special division of the Guardia Civil deployed in the emergency zones.
