Bernales presents report on subversion in Senate

Senator Enrique Bernales Ballesteros, on behalf of the Special Commission on Pacification, which he chairs, presented a detailed report to the Senate on the problem of subversion in Peru. The report analyzes the causes of the subversive phenomenon from the social, political and economic angles. Bernales presents recommendations to put the nation on the road to peace through social justice. This presentation takes place in the context of a serious economic and social crisis, days before a major food shortage that generated strong public protests.
