Female police officer killed with submachine gun while controlling traffic in Lima
A female policewoman was shot with a machine gun while she was controlling traffic between the intersection of Alfonso Ugarte and Jiron Zorritos. This murder was part of the series of terrorist attacks that intensified in Lima during 1987, where many policemen were killed at close range in different areas of the city.
