Exhumation of Juan Argumedo's body
Exhumation of the corpse of journalist Juan Argumedo in the Chacabamba cemetery on August 15, 1986, after his sister Juana Lidia secretly transferred him from Juriputuna in Uchuraccay.
Juan Argumedo was one of the journalists murdered in the Uchuraccay massacre on January 26, 1983. His sister Juana Lidia Argumedo went to Uchuraccay with Judge Juan Flores Rojas on February 11, 1983 to perform the exhumation, but it could not be done because the body was not found. Some time later, Juana Lidia found out that her brother's body had been taken to Juriputuna, in one of the hills of Uchuraccay, from where she secretly took it to the Chacabamba cemetery. Finally, the body was exhumed on August 15, 1986 in the Chacabamba cemetery.
