Legal proceedings in communities of Huanta

Judicial diligence from May 9 to 14, 1983 in the communities of Uchuraccay, Huaychao and Iquicha, where Judge Juan Flores Rojas collected statements from authorities and peasants, and Willy Retto's camera was found on the last day.

Between May 9 and 14, 1983, Judge ad hoc Juan Flores Rojas conducted a judicial proceeding in the communities of Uchuraccay, Huaychao and Iquicha. During this diligence, the judge collected statements from various authorities and peasants of these communities. On the last day of this judicial proceeding, May 14, an inspection ordered by the judge took place in the hills of Uchuraccay, where the photographic camera of Willy Retto, one of the murdered journalists, was found. This was the fourth and last judicial diligence carried out at the scene of the events during 1983.
