National strike - Death of workers

Four workers were killed by the Republican Guard during the national strike of March 10, 1983 in Lima (Comas). The victims were Sixto Pérez Sánchez, José Antonio Monayco, Liborio Alfonso Aguilar and Hermenegildo Julián Huatuco.

During the national strike of March 10, 1983, four workers were murdered in Lima (Comas) by the Republican Guard. The victims were Sixto Pérez Sánchez, José Antonio Monayco, Liborio Alfonso Aguilar and Hermenegildo Julián Huatuco. This event was documented in complaints filed with the International Labor Organization (ILO) as part of the violations of freedom of association that occurred during the internal armed conflict in Peru.
