Diligence of exhumation of Juan Argumedo

On February 11, 1983, an attempt was made to exhume the body of Juan Argumedo in Uchuraccay in the presence of Judge Juan Flores Rojas and his sister Juana Lidia, but the body was not found. The body had been secretly transferred to Juriputuna and was later exhumed in 1986.

On February 11, 1983, Juan Argumedo's sister, Juana Lidia, went to Uchuraccay accompanied by Judge Juan Flores Rojas to perform the exhumation of her brother's body. However, the procedure could not be carried out because the body was not found in the expected place. Later, Juana Lidia learned that her brother's body had been taken to Juriputuna, in one of the hills of Uchuraccay. She secretly took the body to the Chacabamba cemetery, where it was finally exhumed on August 15, 1986. Juan Argumedo had been the guide who accompanied the journalists and was murdered with them on January 26, 1983.
