UNSCH authorities press conference denying links to terrorism

On September 18, 1980, the authorities of the UNSCH called a press conference to deny that the institution was involved in terrorist acts. The fact that well-known leaders of the PCP-SL had occupied important positions in the UNSCH put the University in the crosshairs of police and journalistic reports, as the first subversive acts in Ayacucho became known.
