Massacre in Tahuantinsuyo
In 1993, nearly 100 individuals, including asháninkas, nomatsiguengas, and colonists, entered the community of Tahuantinsuyo under the guise of being ronderos. They proceeded to loot, mistreat, and execute members of the community. The event was marked by extreme violence, including the brutal killing of children and adults, as the PCP-SL controlled the surrounding areas.
Alrededor de las seis de la tarde, unos 60 a 70 desconocidos ingresaron al anexo de Tahuantinsuyo y convocaron a la población pretextando una reunión.
