Forced Recruitment of Jorge Briones Ramírez
Jorge Briones Ramírez, a 17-year-old, was forcibly recruited into military service despite having his registration card. Jorge Briones Ramírez, de 17 años, fue detenido por la policía en Villa María del Triunfo (Provincia de Lima) y conducido a la 10º División Blindada del Rímac donde fue reclutado forzadamente. A pesar de contar con su boleta de inscripción, fue llevado al departamento de Ayacucho para cumplir el Servicio Militar Obligatorio en zona de emergencia. Varias instancias del Poder Judicial y el Tribunal de Garantías Constitucionales rechazaron el recurso de habeas corpus interpuesto por su irregular reclutamiento y restricción de libertad física, considerando los hechos como meros alistamientos conforme al Decreto Legislativo 264.
